Burbank and Quincy

Thursday was a BIG night for Connell Volleyball.  The Coyotes came to town, planning to take the sole posession of first place for the League.  They tried but in the end Connell came out victorious and are now the leaders of the league!!  Here are some great shots of the game, courtesy of Karen Baumann, an incredible photographer.

Karen's daughter, Kate, is Connell's head coach.  A little intense in this shot!

Love this shot.

The girls traveled to Quincy on Saturday for the Quincy Tournament.  They got 2nd in their pool play and eventually placed 2nd for the tournament.  The only losses came to Ephrata, both losses.  They did beat them in one game.  Played them crappy the first time and revenged themselves the second time.  They ended up losing, but played much better.  It was a long day, but lots of good volleyball.

Paxton's car was broken into while we were gone at the Quincy tournament.  That was a bummer.  I think they got spooked by someone driving by because they didn't get the whole stereo, just the face.  And took a bag of clothes and a phone charger.  They only broke one window, the passenger front window.  Could have been way worse.  They got nothing that wasn't replaceable.  Just a whole lot of unnerving, knowing that someone was in your car without your permission, and taking things that don't belong to them.  Hope their happy.

The Yankees lost today.  That is good.  The Phillies are losing.  Not good news.

This coming week is volleyball at Ki-Be Tuesday and Mabton Thursday.  Should be good games.  Go Eagles!
