The Next Lady Eagle Soccer Superstar!!!!

Angela!!!!

Here she is......ready to move into soccer stardom!  She was so excited telling us about her not 1 but 2 goals that she made last night at her soccer game.  She said they ended up losing the game 8-4 but said the grownups don't know the real score because they don't pay attention to things like that.  Wouldn't this be a great concept for some of us grownups to live by!

Here it is.....the beginning of the "Class of 2012" (and Grayson, Hunter, Colton and Olivia!)  Kade posted this picture on Facebook the other night.  Aren't they so darn cute!  Adorable!  You guys have come a long way...the finish line is now in sight--only 9 months to go and June will be here!

Friday

Friday night the cheerleaders adorned our fence with paper cups...spelling out CHS!!  It was awesome.  Too bad the game wasn't.  Guess you can't complain when you lose a ballgame to a better team.  Cashmere was that...a better team.

Here's the fence from afar.  Looks great huh!  The clock is the showing the best score for the evening, right now, before the game.  Tied at 0.

Here come the band and cheerleaders, along with Mrs. Kitson directing.  They circled the field on the track, playing while marching.  It is so nice having a band that sounds good, and does good things.
The guy in this picture, with his hands on his hips....is none-other-than Mr. Kitson!  CHS is a lucky place!!
We are happy to have him back.
2 lovelies (excuse the bad shadow!)
The Gear Up lab got a present in the mail.....
Here's Lidia, Barbie, Delia and Emerith!

It's a really big and awesome banner advertising for itself.  It wasn't free however!  There was a group of us that is playing "The Price Is Right" and trying to guess how much the bill will be.  Here are our guesses:

Marcie wanted to bet $1 but we said no.....trying to undercut everyone!  Nice try.  I'll definitely let you know when I win!  (:
Here is the "Eagle of the Week"!!!  Yeah, Paxton!  Congratulations.  It was a tough day Saturday in Okanogan.  We had to drive 3 hours to go 1-3.  Oh well.  Hopefully things will go better tomorrow night at Riverview.

A Tribute To Those Lost, But NOT Forgotten

I'm sure a lot of us are the same when we say, "I can't believe it's been 10 years".

I remember exactly what I was doing on that day in 2001.  I remember watching in disbelief at the act and the actions that followed.

To all of those who bravely lost their lives, and to those who choose to risk their lives on a daily basis to defend our country, a huge THANK YOU!

God bless the USA

#1......2 Years In A Row!!

The Ki-Be Jamboree was last night.  Connell took first place, again this year!  They played Mabton first, then Goldendale, and finally Ki-Be.  Each game was won by the Eagles!  I was pleasantly surprised at the way the team played....remember, the Eagles lost 10 of 12 Varsity players last year.  With only Megan and Paxton returning I was thinking they have their work cut out for them.  They do, but they impressed me last night.  Maybe it won't be such a long season.  (:

Watch out Othello Huskies.....tomorrow the Eagles come to town!
